Preparation prior to submitting your music for mastering

Make sure your track is at least -3db
Provide a mixed track with no compression, reverb or stereo widening on the stereo master if at all possible.  This doesn't mean removing effects from individual tracks that are meant to be in the mix... just on the master stereo track....
We do not accept MP3 files for mastering.  Much of the full range has been lost in compression to use as a source to master, dare I say I would seriously question any "Mastering" studio that does "MP3" mastering.....
Make sure you provide us with exact Track Names, Fade times, Sequencing, ISRC codes and UPC codes if you are going to have your mastered songs duplicated on Redbook CD-R.
When you submit your order, provide us with a detailed idea of how you want your overall sound to be?  Wide big reverb sound?  Clean crisp dry sound? Etc.  Just give us an idea and we can focus our mastering processing to reach the desired sound you are looking for.
If you don't like the way something sounds when we send back reference files for review... TELL US!  We are happy to make corrections... After all, this is YOUR music!!!! Don't worry about hurting anyone's feelings... we've been in this business long enough to take it... trust us! :-)

And most importantly, if you have ANY other questions ahead of time... Please Contact Us at anytime!!!!
